Nowadays we often hear about the genetic code that scientists are trying to crack to understand and resolve the many health problems that humans have. We are fantasizing about and looking for immortality in our existing bodies to avoid the hassles of going through soul transitions and the related pain and suffering of our darling mortal bodies. So what is that code? Where did it come from? How? Why? Where is the programmer who created that code?
Torah and Bible both say "God created man in His own image, in the image of God. He created him; male and female. He created them" (Genesis 1, 27). What does this mean? Do we look anything like the Creator?
Let's take a look at the digital pictures on our cell phones or computers. Do they look like us? They definitely do to our eyes; however, do we share anything in-common with those pictures in the way we are constructed, like cells or molecules? No, absolutely not. What about those computer game characters that are running around of our screens and whom we control one way or another. Do we have anything in-common with them besides the fact that they appear to us to be to human or animal or of "alien" likeness? Nope. We are not made of the same materials or live in the same environment. Our universe is different from theirs. Their universe is a part of ours, but that's about it. We created those images of ourselves. We developed those games. We created computers where those games and pictures reside and run. We created The Hardware and The Code that makes that world exist. We defined the rules for it. We are the creators of that world.
So, if we managed to create the computer world, and it’s pretty advanced by now with artificial intelligence (once again, created by us) starting to control more and more of it, who created our universe? Who put together "The Hardware" and "The Code" that we are running on? Are we a part of somebody's school or scientific project, similar to the one described previously?
