I do not recall when or from whom I heard this, but I was once told that it was normal for a person to talk to God; however, if a person heard God talk in return, it was called schizophrenia. Is such a statement true or does our Creator talk to us one way or another? When an individual hears voices in his or her head, is it the result of a sick mind playing tricks or some entity communicating with them?
Like our angels and demons, computer stability support programs have many ways of controlling the events happening in the system. Usually their interventions are pretty authoritative or even brutal, but if the running program supports the feature, they can provide certain directives to the active application to shepherd it into the desired zone or to execute certain embedded functions, as required at the moment to improve stability of the system. Whether humans have this feature in the form of the "voice channel" is a different question.
Humans commonly receive information using their five senses: sight, smell, hearing, taste, and touch. Other species on Earth have some additional sensory functionality, for example, dolphins seem to be able to feel the magnetic field of the planet. The specter of detectable waves of light and sound also seems to significantly vary between species. There are many other waves and irradiations taking place around us, including the ones we generate ourselves. What this basically means is that there are many different channels of communication available and running even though we are not tuned-in to communicate on all of them (almost like walkie-talkies, in a sense). However, it is possible that there are some individuals that have additional communicational abilities (more so than the rest of us).
The shepherding programs that guide us provide a plenty of information via our common senses and do not really need any other channels. The processing of that information is up to us. To be honest, all of the information we receive via our five senses is meant to guide us through our lives. Knowing that, we try to use this to our own benefit. Just look at political leaders, mass media outlets and store advertisements.
Now, with all those shepherding programs running, for the Creator to communicate with an individual program that is pretty much identical in most respects to the billions of others, it has to be something absolutely exceptional that needs to be communicated. Also, remembering time sensibility differences between us and the Creator, it is hard to imagine how this would event playout.
From the computer user’s point of view, observing self-altering programs, which appear and disappear very quickly, one would need to pause the executed code to ensure that the corresponding program does not disappear before communication is complete. Then, the desired information can be transferred to the specific target before the system is resumed. If the objective is not to pass information to a specific target, but rather to a whole population via any available connection, then the required data can be beamed to a random program currently running with the purpose of dissipating the data to the whole or a part of a population. The second model negates the possibility of the Creator getting in touch with the same person more than once.
Obviously, the Creator's abilities and the operating system in which we reside are so much different from us and our computers that the execution of a task might be done differently than described above. Still, the time sensibility difference is going to be there. Of course, it is theoretically possible that the Creator "feels" time in the same way as we do, meaning that he can do as much in the same period of time as we can. Then, the direct communication with an individually selected person in reasonable human time is possible. Although the idea that the Creator can work as fast as his own computer is somewhat disturbing, because our computers do things much faster than we do, except probably all the work done by our brain to keep us running.
